Wondering how you could ever combine the two?

Join the new undergraduate Wilderness Medicine Club at UC Davis, a Student Interest group of the WILDERNESS MEDICAL SOCIETY.

This
group is geared toward increasing the level of knowledge about medicine
in the outdoors. The club is for wilderness users, guides, EMTs,
pre-health students or anyone who goes into remote areas where they are
responsible for the well-being of other people.

Through a series
of speakers, workshops and outings, members will learn how to recognize
and manage common medical problems in remote areas and gain a new
appreciation and respect for the challenges they take on.
