Care about the environment? Want to help the UC Davis community? Want to run around in a frog costume while getting paid?

Transportation and Parking Services recently partnered with Zimride to create a private social network for online ridesharing for the UC Davis community. By empowering your community we will create a new form of transportation that is fun and easy to use, saves money and reduces campus carbon emissions.

Zimride is currently on 25 campuses including Cornell, Stanford and UCLA.  Through focused and coordinated promotion strategies, we successfully made carpooling a new form of reliable student transportation.  You will get to help replicate this success at UC Davis.

Tasks:
The internship will extend for three months at a weekly pace of 3-7 hours per week with the opportunity to continue. You will report directly to Tessa Petrich, Vice President of Marketing at Zimride.  Tessa will work with you to coordinate Zimride’s comprehensive marketing plan as well as weekly goals.  You will be expected to check in with Tessa on a weekly basis to summarize the previous week’s activities and coordinate the next week’s plan.
