Action Research Team
Have you ever thought of pursuing a project or leading a discussion group related to principles of sustainability, but didn’t know when you would find the opportunity to do it, or where you would find the people-power to make it a reality? Well, your opportunity is now and the possibilities are endless!
The Education for Sustainable Living Program (ESLP) is currently requesting proposals from graduate and undergraduate students, as well as community members, faculty, and staff to lead action oriented research groups related to sustainability in our campus community. Every spring as part of the Education for Sustainable Living Program (ESLP) seminar series, students are offered the opportunity to participate in or lead an Action Research Team (ART). The purpose of these action oriented research groups is to involve students in a process of experiential learning by collaborating with faculty, staff, administration, students, and community members to implement tangible change at our university.
If you are interested in leading an Action Research Team, please express interest today! We ask you submit an informal proposal (form attached) to stcastle@ucdavis.edu by Wed., March 9th. You can find more information on our attached flyer as well as on our DavisWiki page, http://daviswiki.org/Education_For_Sustainable_Living_Program .
Please contact Stephanie Castle via email stcastle@ucdavis.edu for more information.
