We will help you with all the planning logistics- you would be surprised to know it’s not too difficult at all. Basically, it involves ordering your wares from the Student Services office a couple days ahead of time and knowing where the compost bins are located on campus (the MU).

How to Have a Zero Waste Event, adapted from R4
A Zero Waste Event follows the following guidelines
- Only the necessary number of plates and cups should be used
- No styrofoam can be used
- No #3 through #7 plastics can be used
- Food should be purchased in BULK and not in individually wrapped packages (no ketchup packets)
- Food portions will be determined appropriately to prevent food waste
- All uneaten food will be composted or donated along with any other compostable items
- All recyclables (e.g. paper, cardboard, cans and bottles) will recycled
- Attendees should bring a reusable mug/cup (recommended)
